The more unrealistic your dream is, the happier you are.

Everyone has a dream even though it seems to be unrealistic. I have always dreamed of building the most attractive building in the world by using new material that doesn’t exist now and would be more effective than former one. The word “attractive” that I used does not mean only “attractive external surface” but also “full of creativity inside” so that everyone who uses that building could be captivated by it.

I know my dream is a bit unrealistic compared with my short experience and lack of knowledge. I’m currently studying architectural engineering in university and I have almost no experience in this field. There are too many subjects that I should study to make my dream come true. For example, I should study architectural design, structural analysis and new materials. Also I should research good examples of creative buildings which were built by famous architects in the past. Of course researching is not enough. I should investigate what kind of things I can improve and modify considering the users’ situation. It requires not only studying on the desk but also experiences in reality.

However, I feel so excited even though I know my dream is quite unrealistic. It’s much better than living in a boring situation such as doing a routine job. I will have been studying new subjects until my dream come true. I will have new experience every single day. I’m sure that going through this procedure could make me happy. The more unrealistic my dream is, the happier I am.
So it means it wouldn’t worry me if my dream doesn’t come true. The procedure that I would make to realize my dream will be meaningful enough. So dream high, even if you aren’t confident of your ability.

  1. Very good...
this is absolutely unrealistic, but if it makes you happier that`s what is important.
by the way, finding a new material is something that I strongly belive you will not find being an Architectural engineering because who does it is a Chemical engineering or just who studies Chemistry.
It is really a good Article.
I think there are only one mistake about the position of the word ALSO. I`m not sure about it.

  2. I wouldn't say your dream is unrealistic,I would have a look around, look back into the past .How many dreams come true? Would you say 20 years ago that you would be able to go on holiday to space, not many people would have thought that possible.
I just want to say that if you believe in your dreams, stick to them and make them real....
I'm keeping my fingers cross for you
