I like the song- I'd Rather Dance With You, released in 2004, played by KINGS OF CONVENIENCE. KINGS OF CONVENIENCE is an indie folk-pop duo from Norway. Consisting of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe(I don’t know how to pronounce it.) They’ve know each other from the age of 10. I like their delicate and acoustic sounds and smooth voices.
I feel happy whenever I listen to this song. Its main theme is the same as the title. :)
He prefers to dance with someone than to talk. Because they might be in a club or a bar with such loud music that they can hardly talk and understand each other. There’s also a chance to misunderstand. Furthermore he hasn’t read a book and just saw one boring film. He isn’t sure to be charming, and actually he doesn’t mind being cool or not. He just suggests dancing, getting into the swing and moving your hips. Then he would make you laugh trying to pretend the guy who sings and so on.
‘I’d rather dance with you than talk with you!’- How cool it is!
I also love the video for I'd Rather Dance With You, which topped MTV's European list as the best music video of 2004. It’s funny and humorous. It makes me smile. I recommend you take a look and enjoy the clip on YOUTUBE.

I'd Rather Dance With You
(Lyrics)
I'd rather dance with you than talk with you,
so why don't we just move into the other room.
There's space for us to shake, and 'hey, I like this tune'.
Even if I could hear what you said,
I doubt my reply would be interesting for you to hear.
Because I haven't read a single book all year
and the only film I saw, I didn't like it at all.
I'd rather dance than talk with you.
The music's too loud and the noise from the crowd increases the chance of misinterpretation.
So let your hips do the talking.
I'll make you laugh by acting like the guy who sings,
and you'll make me smile by really getting into the swing.
I'd rather dance than talk with you.
